Job Title	Project Engineer
Location	Halifax
Responsible to	Contracts Director
Responsible for	Design and management of installation of specialist fire safety equipment in buildings throughout the UK
Main Duties	Handling relationships with key national accounts with responsibility for projects from initial design through to commissioning. Contact management including negotiation of terms and conditions Production of working drawings using CAD Liasing with sub contractors and customers to ensure projects meet programme targets Visiting sites as required to oversee installation Maintaining project files and quality documentation Ensuring financial budgets are met Preparation of system designs
Qualifications / experience	Relevant project management experience essential not necessarily in construction Educated with a mechanical and electrical bias Computer literacy essential including AutoCAD Current Driving Licence
Individual Characteristics	Must be a good communicator both orally and in writing as ability to explain concepts to Clients and suppliers is essential A logical approach to problem solving will be required Ability to work under pressure as part of a small team and on own initiative Flexible and enthusiastic

Hours of work	37.5 hours pw, plus additional hours as required by workload and site visits Salary Base salary range circa £25k+ plus car allowance and incentives Holidays 20 days pa plus statutory increasing to 25 with length of service
